Located at the northwest corner of Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport with easy access to the north extension of the airport highways, the new facilities will be close to GAMECO’s headquarter and replace the existing facilities 20 km away at downtown Guangzhou Baiyun district.

According to GAMECO, the two new centers cover a total construction area of 54,000 sqm, which will give ample space to integrate all critical processes under one roof and realize a "one-stop total service" concept. They will also lead to more comprehensive capabilities of airborne components and composite structure parts.

Additionally, this new CBC and CRC will bring GAMECO the opportunity to realize “smart maintenance” (industry 4.0) and apply new technologies including 3D printing, intelligent logistics, robot-assisted maintenance, VR/AR, IoT, Big Data and artificial intelligence.

The company also expects the new centers to create new job opportunities and additional taxes income to Guangzhou Aerotropolis Development District, and drive Guangzhou Aerotropolis Development District towards the goal of building a global Aircraft Maintenance Industry Center.

According to Guangzhou Aerotropolis Development District, the district has been gathering aviation-related industries including aircraft maintenance, logistics, cross-border e-commerce, aircraft leasing and headquarters projects. Thus far, the Chinese headquarters of AMAC Aerospace has settled in the district while two biggest aircraft manufacturing enterprises, Airbus and Boeing, have landed their converted freighter programs.
